Admission Process of Aliah University
1. Online Application
Candidates must fill out the admission form
available on the university’s admission portal. You need to provide personal
details, academic qualifications, upload necessary documents (photo, signature,
certificates, etc.), and pay the application fee online. After successful
submission, a confirmation page or application ID is generated.
2. Admission Test: Based on the course, candidates may have to
appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. Admit cards are issued
online before the test. The test assesses subject knowledge, reasoning,
aptitude, or language skills (depending on the program).
3. Provisional Merit List: After the exam (or based on
academic performance if no test is required), a provisional merit list is
published. This list ranks candidates based on their test scores or qualifying
marks. It’s called "provisional" because it may change after document
verification or corrections.
4. Counselling: Shortlisted candidates are invited for
counselling sessions. Counselling may be online or offline and involves
selecting preferred courses or specializations based on your merit rank. Sometimes,
document verification is also partly done during this phase.
5. Provisional Allotment List: After counselling, a
provisional allotment list is published. This shows which candidates have been
allotted seats in which course or department, provisionally based on their rank
and preferences. Candidates are given a time frame to accept the seat.
6. Online Payment for Admission: Candidates who accept their
provisional allotment must pay the admission fee online within the deadline. Non-payment
may lead to the cancellation of the seat.
7. Documents Verification / Final Admission
(Physically at University): Finally, candidates must visit the university campus physically. They
need to submit original documents (marksheets, certificates, ID proofs, caste
certificates, etc.) for verification. After successful verification, final
admission is granted, and students receive their enrollment number or ID card.
